Rory Kerr, Head of Office
ExperienceRory Kerr first joined Maitland for 3 months in Luxembourg on the day the Firm opened for business in 1976 and then spent 20 years with Maitland in Luxembourg from July 1980. Rory then moved to Dublin in August 2000 to start and head up Maitland’s office there.
Rory is a Partner in the Legal Services practice of Maitland. He helps clients identify, manage and solve their problems in the areas of international corporate and personal tax. To that end he serves on the board of a publicly listed company and some publicly listed investment funds. As trusted advisor he also acts as a trustee of the Employee Share Incentive Plans and as a protector or member of advisory boards in relation to a number of family trusts.
Rory also worked for Webber Wentzel, a South African law firm in Johannesburg, in 1974 and from 1977 through June 1980 and was a Partner of that firm from 1982 through February 2008.
