In June, Maitland hosted its annual summer drinks in London at the Savoy Place Embankment, for an evening of celebration and networking among colleagues and clients, with special guest speaker George Parker, Political Editor of the Financial Times.

Following a welcome address from Steve Georgala and introduction by Patric Foley-Brickley, George shared with us his thoughts and predictions on everything from Brexit to Boris in 2019.

Against the backdrop of a Tory PM leadership race and a Labour party divided against itself, George both informed and entertained us with his exploration of the UK’s current political landscape.

Thanks to all those who came and were involved in making the event such a success. To those who were unable to attend, we hope to see you next year!
