Guido joined Maitland in April 2007. He was initially responsible for setting up and growing Maitland’s front and middle office administration service including portfolio management and order management support, trade confirmation and settlement, and off-market trade execution and settlement.
He headed up Maitland’s South African hedge fund administration business providing fund administration services for our South African, European, North American, and offshore hedge fund clients. In 2016 he was appointed Head of Fund Services (South Africa) and since 2021 he relocated to the UK to take up the role of Head of Fund Services (UK), based in Chelmsford.
Guido is a qualified accountant and has over 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry. Prior to joining Maitland Guido worked at Royal Bank of Scotland, Merrill Lynch International, and Old Mutual.
